The bike that's supposed to disappear into a corner of your office or the boot of your car when you're not riding it. The Apollo Transport folds down small enough to actually do that, at a frame weight (16kg) that doesn't punish you for carrying it up a flight of stairs.
Who it's for: last-mile commuters, narrowboat and motorhome owners, anyone who needs a bike that lives somewhere other than a shed.
Specs:
Shengyi front-wheel motor, 250W, 40Nm torque
Samsung 209Wh battery, 8.7Ah
Up to 20 miles assisted range
V-brakes, 6-speed gearing, rigid frame
20in wheels, folds flat, 16kg total weight
Every bike here is built to UK EAPC rules - 250W motor, assistance capped at 15.5mph - so there's no licence, road tax, insurance, or registration to deal with before you ride.
